After residing in their Chesterfield home for almost twenty years, the homeowners sought an update to their outdated master bathroom.  The early 90s low counters, boxy bathtub, and wall-to-wall vanity mirrors no longer fit the designer upgrades made to the rest of their home.  They desired the look of a Ritz Carlton master suite: luxurious feel, romantic ambiance, upscale fixtures, clean lines, and timeless design.

In order to achieve the clients’ wishes, the current bathroom had to be overhauled, using the same foot print.  The most major undertakings proved to be the removal of the boxy tiled platform tub to open up floor space as well as re-routing plumbing to accommodate the stand-alone bathtub and multiple fixtures within the shower.

The tranquil paint on the walls set the soothing pallet for the room. Incorporating 12"x24" marble tile floors and shower walls, a seamless shower, a free-standing air bathtub, taller custom cherry cabinetry, and marble countertops allowed an ambient suite to take shape.  The gallery style lighting, polished nickel fixtures, custom wainscoting, and a full-length beveled mirrored medicine cabinet added features that create the luxurious feel desired by the client.
